Evidence that Proves that DA Cruden Publicly Shared Lies about Victim of Sexual Assault

This excerpt shows where Ms. Nicholson reported the sexual assault to Dare County Sherriff’s Office in January of 2021.
This excerpt shows the online Court Information showing the dates of their divorce and custody proceedings. Their divorce hearing was in June of 2022 and their final custody hearing was in November of 2023.
Thus, DA Cruden’s statements about Ms. Nicholson not reporting allegations of sexual assault against her now ex-husband until after the divorce and custody proceedings is false. His claim suggests that she made up these allegations in an attempt to gain custody thus accusing her of filing a false police report. None of which is true.
